Helping You Thrive!
As a CBIT-trained occupational therapist, I help children (and adults) manage their tics without medication-using evidence-based strategies that support the whole person.
In addition, I help children build skills and confidence through personalized occupational therapy so they can thrive at school and beyond.
In addition to providing CBIT services for individuals of all ages, I have specialized training as an AOTA Board-Certified Pediatric Occupational Therapist (BCP credential) in Rochester, NY and New York State (telehealth) with extensive experience delivering evidence-based OT services.
I am a certified CBIT provider who provides Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) for children, adolescents, and adults with Tourette Syndrome in Rochester, NY and New York State (telehealth).
Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) for Tourette Syndrome is a brief, 8-to 14-session therapy that has been proven effective at reducing tics for approximately 60% of persons who try it. CBIT focuses on making changes in your lifestyle and directly targeting your tics, one tic at a time. It is appropriate for children, teens, and adults.

Role of Occupational Therapist
As an occupational therapist with specialized training, I am uniquely qualified to address tics through a holistic, values and purpose-driven approach. I utilize various evidence-based therapies, tailored to individual needs, including Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and Cognitive Psychophysiological (CoPs) treatment for tics, within an occupational therapy practice framework.
